First Storytelling Workshop Held

Graduates and resource persons of the first Storytelling Workshop organized by Natalie in the Light Inc. on 23 August 2014 plan to expand reading and storytelling activities for children and young leaders by partnering with student associations YEARN and BUKLOD at the University of the Philippines College of Nursing. Storytelling is a magical life skill at school, in your profession, and when volunteering. Making Your Voice Heard On Camera

Volunteers joined Creative Director Prospero Laput of Asia-Pacific FocusFeatures in Hong Kong for interviews on 23 July 2014 about our work to empower a new generation of young leaders.  They talked about their vision on leadership and about the activities we have already done and are planning to do.

Annual Meeting Recognizes Achievements

The Annual Meeting on June 9th acknowledged the achievements during the first year after incorporation of Natalie in the Light (NILI) Inc. in July 2013.  Read the Report of the President.  The meeting recommended to continue the three current projects, and to expand activities to empower young leaders in the coming year, for example by strengthening their communications skills and by introducing online responses to their questions for advice.
