Projects update

Natalie in the Light was established in May 2012 and incorporated in July 2013.

The community of volunteers is organizing three main projects:

1. Leadership Camp 2014  -  Young leaders from 5 high schools joined the first camp on 15-16 February 2014 at British School Manila, including an outreach to street children cared for in the homes of Virlanie Foundation. Graduates met on 29 March for their Reunion "Sharing Experiences About Making A Difference."
2. Young Environmental Leaders Program  -  Young leaders from several colleges joined the first program on 10-14 February at UP Manila - including a pre-Valentine's Day "Love Pediatrics" outreach to children in pediatric wards of the Philippine General Hospital. 
3. Reading & Story Telling Campaign - piloted in May 2014 and under development. Story Telling  Workshop scheduled on 23 August - apply now to coachwouter[at]natalieinthelight.org.

All projects focus on empowering young leaders by promoting:

• a healthy mind
• a healthy life
• making a difference.

Regular workshops are also being organized to expand important life skills together.
